Kim K's New Wardrobe "Upgrade"

I'm pretty sure everyone has noticed the recent change in Kim K's wardrobe. Well, as many have guessed, you can thank Kanye for that. On a recent episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, viewers got a chance to see the star and his stylist revamp Kimmy's closet.  Her new look is comprised of monochromatic tops, leather leggings, minimal makeup and sleek hair. I for one love change, but this is not one I'm particularly for. I completely agree that Kim needs a better look but this recent "upgrade" has a little more misses than hits, and its got me wondering if Kimmy is a true style chameleon or just a well-kept girlfriend. Lets have a look.

Okay, the dress is cute and it hits her in the right spots. But the shoes? Hell no. Try again boo.

It looks like the Wizard of Oz threw up all over her.

Now this is cute. Its never a good idea to show too much at the same time. If you show a little (or a lot) of boobage then don't show too much leg, or arms, ect. Kimmy is a repeat offender of this, but she got it right this time. The long sleeves balances everything out. You go girl.

*face palm* Who the hell authorized this? Oh yeah, him. Its cool to wear a sexy (piece of a) top like this if, and only if, you wear something over it. If she had paired this with a cute blazer, a nice pair of jeans, and some heels I'd give it to her. And, to add insult to injury, the skirt is completely see-through. Ummm, can you say heaux?

This dress follows many of Kanye's guilelines. Its peplum, a solid color, contains no neons, and is the the very essence of conservative cleavagless-ness with chic long sleeves. It also looks like Gumby and Barbie melted into each other. *sigh* You'll get there girl.

I commend Ye on trying to clean up Kim's style but its going to take a little more work. Hopefully soon because this is how Kim dresses without adult supervision:
