In life, most of us don't get the support that we so desperately need. This is especially true when it comes to family, they seem to be the worst critics sometimes. I may not personally know your situation *but* I definitely understand. I've had unsupportive people in my corner and it is thee worst. Every time I felt like I was really doing it, I got undermined and sideswiped by judgement or sneer comments. But I'm learning to live without them. People like that are poison, and are very bad for your overall wellbeing. The very best thing you can do in a situation like that is to leave them alone completely, and live for you.
You have to take care of you and do whats best for yourself.
Seek out wise counsel from those around you, if you don't have any wise people around you find some. And change who you allow yourself to hang around, that right there is half the battle. Remember: stupid shxt and stupid people beget more stupid shxt and stupid people. So if most of your friends are dumb asses chances are you're one too. Fix that. But take the advice from those who are smarter and more experienced than you and apply it to your situation. It may take some time but it'll work, trust me. And keep moving forward no matter what.
Hope this helped :)
